Our island's name is Eden.
The type of government we choose for this island is Democracy. The reason is we wanted a fair and even governmental system. And it is fair to everyone on the island.
The economic system we decided to choose was Capitalism. We would have free enterprise and room to grow for everyone. It is easier for everyone when they can have competition for everyone to get better and exceed their competitors.
3. Explain how we will provide for the basic necessities of living in our utopia.
For water we will have an irrigation system that runs all thourgh the island. The system will purify and boil the water to eliminate the salt in it. For shelter we will cut down many trees on the island and build log cabins out of the wood. For food we will be very agricultural society, we will have a lot of fields with acres of crops planted, we will also hunt many of the animals on the island. - Kain W.
4. How will our society distribute jobs? What will the people in our utopia do for a living? How do they make money and spend money? What will be our currency?The way we will distribute jobs is if you are good at something and can prove it to the rest of the utopia, then you will be permited to work in that area of your skill. What people will do for a living is basicly be hunters and gathers, also there will be bui9lders, cooks, and ther will be a police system in the utopia. The way you make money is to mark your hours you work on a big punch in/out clock and at the end of the week everyone get paid. The currency for our utopia is you will get paid in crops and animals, and berry's and fruit that gets collected through out the week. - Kain W.

We plan on building on cutting many of the trees down and building olg cabins with the wood. We will put mud in the cracks perfectly so our rock widows and doors are water proof and keep in warm. We seem to be fighting in wars that are unimportant to us. The government makes bad economic decisions. The people's rights are not fully allowed. Laws that cause controversy in society are never passed. - Craig B.

There was a divide between the people over an argument over how to gather resources. They are labled the reds and the blues. The reds wanted a more modern way of gathering resources, which destroyed nature more. The blues wanted to do a more old-fashioned way of gathering resources. 1- No Violence: People can not be violent. No aggression toward other people.

3- Cooroporation: You must help the other people in need.

6- No Unauthorized Groups: People cannot make a group unless they are approved by a leader(s).
7- Authorizing A Group: A group can only be created by a leader(s) and they cannot have intentions to harm a person or persons and must have sufficient reasons to form the group.
8- Curfew: The inhabitants of the island must return to their cabins after sundown.
9- Assemblies:Assemblies can only be called if poeple are given five(5) days notice.
10- Resources: People can only take the resources they need to survive.
People have the right to ammend, but never fully erase these laws. People can talk to the leaders if a law is in violation of their work schedual or if they think it is unjust. Punishment goes by the saying " an eye for an eye" what you do will happen to you. James C.
